After 40 years of love, this small family retreat on Baldy Mountain above Breckenridge needed a major renovation.
Original home
A 1,400 square foot addition to the living area and a 2 car garage were proposed.
Addition foundation
The existing 1,700 square foot structure was saved, but taken down to the bare studs. All of the building systems are being upgraded to meet or exceed current codes.
Addition Remodel
A new Zip sheathing with continuous rigid insulation envelops the entire new home. This super efficient system prevents thermal bridging between the interior and exterior. Existing decks, patios and indoor/outdoor connections are being expanded.
