Our Story

Bobby Craig, AIA
Owner / Principal Architect

Leading the firm with more than twenty years of experience in architectural design and land planning, Bobby has built a strong client base from around the country and the globe. Following graduation from the University of Virginia, Bobby worked as an architect both in Falls Church and Alexandria. He fell in love with Colorado and moved to Breckenridge in 1990. Bobby is licensed to practice in both Colorado and the District of Columbia. He likes to spend his free time skiing, camping and hiking with his wife and 2 children.

Chad Molliconi, Architect Intern

Chad is a Colorado native who received a Bachelor of environmental Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007. His personal interests include custom residential design and social reform through environmental sustainability. In Chads free time he enjoys spending time with his puppy, reading, and listening to live music.

Cheryle Beres, Office Manager

A native of Wisconsin, Cheryle moved to Summit County (again) in 1993. Specializing in Property Management over the years has brought a knowledge base to compliment the services of Arapahoe Architects. Keeping the office running smoothly and well-organized helps to keep the creative juices flowing. Her passion is of the 2 wheel motorized version

We are design experts for the harsh climate and unique site conditions found in our high altitude environment. From avalanche chutes above 11,000 feet to streamside valleys, each site design is approached within its distinct environmental context. Our portfolio includes over 100 well designed, well built custom homes.
We make understanding your plans and design easy.
We utilize Archicad, an architectural 3-D building modeling software from initial conceptual design, through permit ready construction documents. You are provided perspective views of your building design at every phase; this means you have the opportunity to see the building in real time with color, materials, and the scale of the each room- a full three dimensional perspective. Additionally, coordination with engineers and other consultants is greatly improved with a virtual model of the building available to all parties.
We are efficient, in every way. We take efficiency very seriously; from efficient delivery of design services to the most efficient building design possible at reasonable construction costs. From space efficiency to energy efficiency, we treat every project as though it were our own. Cost of construction, long term maintenance, sustainability, and utility expenses are all equally considered.
